KEATING TECHNOLOGIES APPOINTS DALE NEWMAN AS
VICE PRESIDENT SALES AND MARKETING

Markham, Ontario... July 2, 1996 - Keating Technologies, Canada’s leading manufacturers’ representative to the microcomputer industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Newman as Vice President Sales and Marketing. In his position, Mr. Newman will be responsible for establishing strategic sales and marketing initiatives, and further developing the business for continued success and growth.

Art Keating, formerly Vice President Sales, has been promoted to Vice President of Business Development. "Art has played a vital role in the rapid growth and development of Keating Technologies," adds Larry Keating. "Our need for extensive strategic planning and development are key to our continued success. In his new position, Art will further our vendor strategy and relationships, while expanding our infrastructure to support future growth."

Prior to joining Keating Technologies, Mr. Newman was Vice President Sales and Marketing at FormGen, a U.S. based software manufacturer. At FormGen, Mr. Newman was responsible for worldwide sales and marketing activities and was instrumental in launching FormGen’s most recent award winning software program "Duke Nukem 3D". Previously, Mr. Newman spent four years as Vice President of Sales at Ingram Micro Canada.
