TIS Signs Major Strategic Partnering Agreement Expanding Full Service Security Solutions to Canadian Market Keating Technologies to Offer Entire Line of TIS Network Security Solutions GLENWOOD, Md.--June 9, 1997 -- Trusted Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TISX) today announced a major strategic partnership with Keating Technologies, Inc. that will expand TIS’ North American presence into Canada. Keating will become the manufacturer’s exclusive representative for the entire line of TIS network security products throughout all Canadian provinces. Keating Technologies Inc. is Canada’s leading manufacturer’s representative to the microcomputer industry, offering fully integrated sales, marketing and customer support services. TIS joins industry leaders US Robotics and Xircom to offer its high-end Gauntlet® family of firewall products including the state-of-the-art Gauntlet Internet Firewall 4.0, Gauntlet PC Extender, and SmartGate to new and existing Keating customers.
