Markaham, ON – Keating Technologies Inc., a Markham, Ontario-based manufacturers’ representative, was the 1995 recipient of the Extraordinary Business Achievement Award from the Markham Board of Trade.
The award was presented to Keating Technologies in recognition of exceptional business accomplishments in a range of corporate areas such as contribution to employee enrichment and employee relations, excellence in community relations, demonstrated fiscal responsibility, and international impact. The sponsor of the Extraordinary Business Achievement Award was Ford Electronics Manufacturing of Canada who presented the Award to President and Founder of Keating Technologies, Larry Keating.
Nominations for the award must come from a member of the Board of Trade, and are selected from among 6,000 companies and 400 head offices in Markham. The selection committee evaluates and visits all nominated companies throughout the summer before making a decision in the late fall.

Along with Keating Technologies, four other Markham companies were honoured for excellence at the Gala Dinner for the Board’s Annual Business Achievement Awards Program. Over 300 Markham business leaders attended the black tie event. The four remaining Business Achievement Awards were presented for Community Relations and Cultural Enrichment; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; High Standards and Working Conditions; and International Trade.
