Fluke Networks Announces Fibre Media Converter for LinkIQ Cable Testers

As businesses upgrade their networks to support higher speeds and more connected devices, the demand for Wi-Fi 6E is skyrocketing. In just two years, installations have surged from 1.5 million in 2022 to 5.2 million in 2024. With this expansion, network technicians face increasing complexity in setup, testing, and troubleshooting.

To solve this problem, Fluke Networks has developed the LinkIQ Duo—a cable, Wi-Fi, and network tester that eliminates the need for multiple tools and saves technicians considerable time.

The LinkIQ Duo has several applications, including:

  • Testing of cable connectivity between network and access point up to 10Gb/s
  • Verifying connectivity with the main devices
  • Conducting of IPv4 and IPv6 ping and PoE tests
  • Detecting common configuration errors
  • Calculating the maximum bandwidth with the help of frequency-based measurements

To complement the LinkIQ Duo, Fluke Networks has also released the Fibre Media Converter (FMC). When paired with the FMC Kit, any LinkIQ Duo can determine the switch name, application, port name, and VLAN, allowing technicians to connect, understand, and debug the fibre port.

Collaborating with Fluke Networks allows Keating Technologies to bring advanced tech such as LinkIQ to Canadians across the country. Blending our expertise in the Canadian market with Fluke Network’s highly recognized installation tools and innovative technology, we empower businesses with reliable network testing solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and superior performance nationwide.
